Hydration: Refreshed by the Word of God not the world

Are you staying hydrated? Physical, mentally, and spiritually? You’re probably sitting there thinking “Ugh! Are you gonna do another talk about drinking more water? I’ve been hearing that a lot.” Well, you’ve come to the right place then! Staying hydrated takes a lot of effort and time but it is so worth it! Recently I’ve been hearing more and more of these terms because both of my siblings have been having either kidney stones or kidney issues which is caused by dehydration. Although I have been the best one at drinking lots of water, I am still no where near perfect so I have been drinking even more water. Same thing goes spiritually though. I grew up going to church but never got taught how to read my Bible or when to. It’s when I got saved back five years ago that I started to shake the dust off again and start reading it more often. I still wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t until college that I finally started to realize that I needed to be refreshed by the Word of God, NOT the world. Ever since then, I’ve been in the Word more consistently and praying to God having conversations with Him. Every. Single. Time I am refreshed by His Word. Not only do I read and feel refreshed by it but I also apply to my life daily. His promises will never fail and will lead you to everlasting refreshment for His Water (the Living Word), bringing a fresh taste and a new life every time. And I recently got baptized (fully immersed) which shows that I am fully cleansed in Christ  (I highly recommend baptized if that is something that God has laid on your heart!) If you’re thinking “That hit me hard but I know that’s from God”, you’re right! The Holy Spirit leads you beside the still waters and out of the darkness so lean on Him and trust that He will get you through! Read His Word and pray consistently, apply it to your life, and be refreshed by His Water, the Word of God! His Water is all we need to be refreshed, although still stay hydrated through physical water too! P.S. Thank you so much for coming to the end! Hope it was inspiring and you heard God speak through it to you! Having an amazing day and choose happiness! (Sorry it’s been so long with school and work but I promise, it won’t be as long next time lol!)
